Our client is looking to recruit a Breakfix Engineer to join them on a 6-month initial contract. This is a contract role that is Inside IR35. Please note that Successful candidates need to have an active SC Clearance.
Job Description
IT Break fix Engineer working with the Working with Hardware team providing break fix and hardware diagnostics; and physically changing IT Set ups or deployments of new kit.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Potentially supporting on HP, Dell and IBM Servers, Server provisioning, Rack, stack and configure Servers.
2. Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
3. Install and decommission redundant equipment.
4. Provide expert hardware support via Tech Bar support
5. Responsible for proactive updating of customer and resolution of service.
6. Co-operate and work closely with all members of the support team to ensure efficient, productive and high quality technical support and customer service to customers within the live Data Centre.
