The Role
As an Occupational Health Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of health screening and surveillance activities in line with company procedures and clinical protocols.
* Conducting baseline health assessments including height, weight, blood pressure and urinalysis
* Carrying out health surveillance activities such as audiometry and lung function testing
* Supporting Safety Critical Medical Assessments
* Maintaining accurate occupational health records and escalating findings to clinical staff where required
* Supporting drug and alcohol testing procedures in line with chain of custody requirements
* Ensuring high standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
* Assisting with general administrative and non-clinical duties within the department

To be successful, you should have:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good IT literacy and attention to detail

* The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* A strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
* Previous Occupational Health experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
* Monday to Thursday: 7:15am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:15am – 11:45am
* Occasional night shifts may be required
