English Graduate Opportunity – Schools in Wigan & Warrington
Love language, literature, and helping others find their voice? Schools across Wigan and Warrington are looking for English graduates to support pupils in developing confidence in reading, writing, and communication.
This role offers a chance to work closely with students who may need extra encouragement with literacy, comprehension, or exam preparation. Whether you’re supporting a Year 3 class with phonics or helping secondary pupils prepare for GCSEs, you’ll play a key role in building essential skills.
You don’t need prior classroom experience – just a strong academic background in English and a willingness to get involved.
The role involves:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
