Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team is proud to partner with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business based in Huddersfield. We are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Engineer on a permanent basis.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 11.45am
Rate:
Overview of the role of the Fabrication Engineer:
* Fabrication of bespoke insulation and containment units for the pharmaceutical industry.
* Support the production of the company's product range within the fabrication group.
* Manufacture/surface finish products according to company specifications within each discipline.
* Fabricate stainless steel sheet metal.
* Perform general fabrication work, including complex shapes and pipe welding.
* Complete work within budget and project requirements.
* Coordinate and prioritize parts in line with the project plan.
* Review working methods to ensure cost-effective production.
* Contribute to continual improvement of product designs for cost savings.
* Assist with preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
* Adhere to QA procedures to support business development.
* Support R&D projects with advice and assistance.
