We are working with an established Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of East Oxford seeking a Full or Part-Time Payroll Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking flexible part-time hours with genuine work-life balance.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE (25-35 hours per week) Hybrid Working
Professional Services - Accountancy Client
Responsibilities
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls for various SME clients
* Handle starters, leavers, and payroll amendments
* Process salary changes and employee data updates
* Resolve day-to-day payroll queries
* Support general administrative duties during quieter periods
* Assist with statutory requirements including SSP, SMP, SPP, PAYE & NI
What You Need
* Minimum 3 years\' payroll experience
* Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
* Experience with payroll software (Paycircle/Iris knowledge preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills for client interaction
* Proficient IT skills
