Graduate Site Engineer
Join MWH Treatment as a Graduate Site Engineer in our Operations division. This role is part of the 2025 Professional Development Programme and is based in Preston within the United Utilities Framework, working alongside our Engineering specialists.

What will you be doing?
* Assist with day‑to‑day site management, ensuring safe and efficient operations
* Support setting out, surveying, and interpreting engineering drawings
* Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials on site
* Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
* Assist with environmental management and sustainability targets
* Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to solve technical challenges
* Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder communication

What will I need to be considered?
* Recent or upcoming graduate in Civil, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline
* Strong interest in site‑based engineering and infrastructure delivery
* Excellent problem‑solving, teamwork and communication skills
* Willingness to travel to various project sites across the Region
* Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
* Flexibility to spend time in other offices and sites
* Self‑motivated attitude – you are driving your own career
