We are working with a lovely primary school in Birkenhead who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to work within their F1 provision on a full-time basis after half-term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the very start of their school journey in a nurturing, play-based environment.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils within an F1 setting
2. Assisting with early development, learning through play and daily routines
3. Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
4. Providing support to children on a small group and 1:1 basis where needed

5. Has experience working within EYFS (essential)
6. Is patient, nurturing and proactive
7. Understands the importance of early childhood development
8. Can build strong, positive relationships with young children
9. Is reliable and committed to a full-time role

Job Specification
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.

10. NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
11. NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
24. Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
25. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
26. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
27. Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
28. Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
