You'll be supporting several Automated Warehouses - household names usingPLC controlled conveyor, cranes, robots, packaging and palletising machinery, materials handling, sortation, stacking, picking and packingsystems. You'll be fault finding on the machinery, rectifying problems, using PLC's as a diagnostic tool, fault finding on electrical systems, drives, motors, controls. You'll also get involved with Upgrade projects- modifying and sometimes helping to write new PLC software. This can be a chance to improve your PLC skills as you'll be working alongside the Automation and Control Systems Engineers on these.
