We have an opportunity for a Sales and Product Training Specialist waiting just for you. Reporting into the Head of Training, you will create an environment of sales and product knowledge excellence in the Mercedes-Benz Trucks, FUSO Trucks franchised dealer network, Daimler Truck UK and Daimler Truck Financial Services by managing the provision of relevant, high-quality and engaging sales process and product training to qualify the target group to the relevant standard.

Training availability and Delivery
Promote the full range of available training to the Dealer Network and internal colleagues, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and actively engaged. Maintain strong communication channels to maximise awareness and participation across the network.
Manage the sales and product training schedule to ensure all courses are accurately set up and available within the training administration system. Ensure a comprehensive programme of inspiring training is consistently delivered to meet DTUK obligations, supporting franchise standards and enhancing both customer‑facing and non‑customer‑facing capabilities. Deliver the agreed number of training days in line with business needs.
Facilitate and deliver engaging, high‑quality training sessions from DTUK training sites, or at customer or dealer premises when required. Monitor delegate feedback closely and implement improvements to ensure an outstanding learning experience and continuous enhancement of training delivery.
Training Development
Ensure that the training syllabus and all associated content remain complete, current, and fully aligned with the operational Sales and Customer Service & Parts (non‑technical) development plan, as well as TRUCKTraining International guidelines. Maintain a structured and well‑governed curriculum that supports the development needs of the network.
Manage supplier relationships to enable effective delivery of Sales Process training that meets both TRUCKTraining International standards and the specific requirements of the local UK market. Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the overall training offer remains relevant, timely, and reflective of all current topics impacting the UK network.
Identify and establish the most effective new training content and innovative delivery methods to address knowledge gaps across the Dealer Network. Continuously develop fresh, engaging learning solutions that enhance capability and support dealer performance.
Product and Services Transformation
Deliver new product and service innovations with enthusiasm and clarity, inspiring delegates to champion the unique features and benefits of Mercedes‑Benz Trucks products over the competition. Support the network in strengthening sales argumentation and driving transformation through confident, informed promotion of our expanding product and service portfolio.
Culture Accountability
Adopt an open‑minded and collaborative approach, taking responsibility for driving strong sales and product training performance while fostering a positive "one team" culture. Remain flexible and receptive to new methods, processes and ideas that can elevate customer service and support Mercedes‑Benz Trucks' broader goals and aspirations. Promote accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement across all training activities.
Financial
Ensure that all training‑related costs are appropriately covered by income generated from training activities, maintaining strong financial stewardship at all times. Provide transparent reporting and clear financial oversight to ensure effective budget management and compliance with internal standards.
About you
We are seeking a highly experienced training professional with a minimum of five years' industry experience and proven expertise in delivering engaging, effective training. Ideally, candidates will hold an LGV Licence and possess strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of modern training and development methods, processes and platforms. Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills are essential, along with the ability to coach others and solve complex problems.
The role requires strong systems proficiency, including dealer systems, OEM business software, e‑learning platforms, and technical diagnostic tools. Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel is also required. Applicants should demonstrate solid product knowledge across all Mercedes‑Benz Trucks and FUSO vehicles, as well as competitor products. Successful candidates will be expected to obtain Mercedes‑Benz Trucks C‑Trainer certification within the first 12 months of employment.
