This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is a gentleman in her early twenties who has cerebral palsy, and you will be required to assist a caring and compassionate team in providing personal care, PEG feeding for medication, seizure management and offering support and socialisation to the client.

Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially involving the following clinical tasks:
* PEG feeding.
* C-Pap ventilation support.
* Medication and protocols for seizure managment.
* Moving & Handling Equipment.
