Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager | £65,000 to £77, % bonus Oxfordshire - 1 to 2 days a week in the office
We are currently partnering with a leading Manufacturing and distribution organisation to hire a Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager. This role works very closely, supporting global category management teams and plays a pivotal part in enhancing procurement reporting, process excellence, supplier compliance, and stakeholder engagement across a complex, multi-site business.
About the Role
You will be the driving force behind procurement operational excellence, owning global procurement processes, reporting and insights. You will embed best practices within category management teams across compliance, systems, and stakeholder communication.
This is a strategic role with global responsibility, reporting into the Group Procurement function and working closely with leadership across procurement, supply chain, finance, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Reporting & Insights
* Own and enhance procurement reporting tools
* Deliver insights to support decision-making at all levels, including monthly executive reporting.
* Align reporting with financial plans and KPIs across regions.
Supplier Compliance Oversight
* Manage due diligence, risk assessment, and compliance tracking for third-party suppliers.
* Improve procurement risk management frameworks, escalating non-compliance where needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the subject matter expert for procurement processes and tools.
* Influence senior stakeholders to adopt best practices and digital tools.
* Provide training and resources to enable business self-service and compliance.
Continuous Improvement
* Lead global process improvement initiatives and standardisation.
* Embed a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs and targeted change programmes.
Experience required
* Proven experience in procurement operations, process improvement, or Centre of Excellence functions.
* Procurement / Category Management background
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience managing complex reporting systems.
* Strong system skills including
Power BI experience.
* Exposure to ESG or supplier risk compliance frameworks
