Ashton Recruitment require an Administration and Finance Assistant for our client based in Mallusk.
Position: Administration and Finance Assistant
Location: Mallusk
Duration: Temporary - 4-8 weeks
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours of Work: 09:00-16:30
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Maintaining office supplies, manage diaries and record correspondence.
* Provide effective administrative support services to management in relation to meetings and organisational events to include set-up/preparation for events.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries as required.
* Maintain office information systems
* Contribute to planning and development of office support functions.
* Support the finance function in admin and data entry duties when required
* Credit control of outstanding invoices due to Homeless connect from chase payment and liaise with stake holders.
* Credit control of other invoices due for payment for homeless connect conference and membership invoices due.
* Carryout duties in line with the organisation's policy on equality and diversity.
* Contribute to a positive, supportive, and effective team working environment.
* Actively participate in supervision, appraisals, work planning and training as required.
* Undertake any other relevant duties as identified by your line manager.
* To attend and participate in staff meetings and other relevant meetings as appropriate.
* The duties of the post will be subject to review in accordance with the needs of the organisation
Essential Criteria:
* At least 5 GCSE passes or equivalent including Maths and English Language.
* At least 2 years' experience of delivering effective administrative support services.
* Evidence of strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Experience of organising face-to-face and online meetings and events to include minute/note taking.
* Knowledge and experience of working alongside people who use substances.
* Available to work from home and from Homeless Connect office when required.
* Experience of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
* Knowledge and understanding of homelessness issues.
