We are proud to be “ more than football .” ​ Do you have a passion for football and want to make a noticeable difference to the people in your local community? ​ If you have passion for sport and want to make a noticeable difference to the people in your local community, we welcome enthusiastic volunteers to help us deliver sports sessions to all ages and abilities, across the City of Birmingham. ​ Volunteering at BCFC Foundation is an exciting opportunity to build new skills to help you in your career path or development, get hands on experience in a specific role and put your skills and knowledge to good use to help our organisation. ​ What can you expect from us? Working closely with the head coach you will support the delivery of high-quality Football and Futsal sessions including match days. You will receive supervision and support as well as training inline with the coaching role. This is an opportunity to receive coaching and experience within a volunteer coach role which could lead to progression within coaching. ​ The Person As a team player, you will support the head coach in delivering sessions in line with the Foundations Coaching fundamentals that are fun and inclusive. Encouraging participation to enable participants to develop, reach their potential and enjoy physical activity. You will, under supervision, plan and deliver coaching session in the evening and match days on Saturdays. The successful candidate will have their EE Playmaker. In addition to this also FA Safeguarding and FA First Aid qualifications. You are known for your professionalism, integrity, flexibility and positive attitude. ​ ​ The interview process will involve a competency-based interview with a panel and may involve a practical activity which will centre around coaching.
