As Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional service, drive performance, and inspire a high-performing team. You’ll be hands-on, visible on the floor, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the day-to-day management of the bar and restaurant operation
Leading from the front—ensuring outstanding guest service at all times
Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to reach their full potential
Driving revenue through upselling, events, and innovative service ideas
Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and compliance (including UK licensing laws and health & safety)
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cost management
Collaborating with kitchen and hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
Stepping up to lead shifts and take ownership in the Manager’s absence
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a bar, restaurant, or hotel environment
A natural leader with a passion for hospitality and guest experience
Strong organisational and communication skills
Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
Knowledge of UK licensing laws and food safety standards
Energy, ambition, and a desire to grow within a forward-thinking business
