We are currently recruiting English Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Leicestershire. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced TAs or individuals with strong literacy skills and a passion for education. Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting students during English lessons
* Working with small groups on literacy interventions
* Encouraging student engagement and classroom participation
* Providing classroom support to the teacher
* Supporting pupils with varying learning abilities and needs
The ideal candidate will:
* Have strong communication and literacy skills
* Be patient, encouraging and adaptable
* Have experience working with young people or within education (preferred)
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
