Role: Groundworker Location: OX18 Pay Rate: £17.38 per hour PAYE We are recruiting for Groundworkers to work on a project in OX18. This role would suit candidates who are experienced in general groundworks, confident working on a busy construction site, and able to carry out a range of practical site duties safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable and hard-working operatives looking for an immediate or upcoming start, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidates. The Role: As a Groundworker, you will be involved in a range of site-based tasks to support the successful delivery of the project. You will be expected to work as part of the wider site team and carry out groundwork duties to a high standard while following all site health and safety procedures. You should be comfortable working outdoors, carrying out physical work, and assisting with general site operations where required. Duties Will Include: Carrying out general groundworks Excavation works Kerb laying / kerb works Assisting with site preparation and clearance Supporting general labouring duties where required Working around plant and machinery safely Assisting with banksman duties if required Carrying out fire watch duties where needed Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment Following all site health and safety regulations at all times Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Previous experience working as a Groundworker Valid CSCS Card Good understanding of construction site health and safety Ability to carry out physical site work safely and effectively Reliable and punctual approach to work Ability to work well as part of a team Desirable / Advantageous The following would be beneficial, but are not essential: Digger ticket Dumper ticket CAT & Genny ticket Previous experience on secure or regulated sites Ability to meet site security clearance requirements Full UK Driving Licence Ideal Candidate We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and contribute positively to a busy project environment.
