My client, an innovative, diverse Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of design engineers, near the northern maritime city of Hull.
Essential Criteria:
1. A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant discipline
2. Extensive experience of working with drainage strategies and flood risk projects
3. Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
4. Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)
5. Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing leadership and mentorship
8. Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:
9. Experience of project or team management
10. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design software
