Finance Manager Location: CoventrySalary: £65,000-£75,000 + Benefits
Are you a qualified finance professional looking for a role where you can combine commercial influence, operational insight, and robust financial control? We're looking for a proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of operational and inventory accounting processes while playing a key role in driving efficiency, profitability, and business performance.
The RoleThis is a high-impact role that goes beyond stock management. You'll oversee key accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across inventory, cost control, and operational finance. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, and Data teams to strengthen controls, optimise working capital, and identify opportunities for margin improvement.Alongside your BAU responsibilities, you'll lead process improvement initiatives, support forecasting and budgeting cycles, and provide insightful analysis to guide decision-making across the business. You'll also act as a key liaison for both internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage operational and inventory accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Provide financial insight and recommendations to improve stock management, working capital, and profitability.Partner with operational leaders to drive process efficiencies and strengthen financial controls.Produce high-quality financial and management reports to support strategic and operational decisions.Lead and contribute to projects aimed at improving systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.Manage and develop a small finance team.
About You:Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven post-qualification experience.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships across finance and operational teams.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Experience in operational or stock-related finance advantageous, but not essential.
