Job Summary

Main duties of the job
1. Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct assessments, take medical histories, and assist with diagnostic procedures such as urodynamic tests.
2. Treatment & Management: Provide conservative management advice, such as pelvic floor muscle training, bladder retraining, and continence care.
3. Patient Education & Support: Offer guidance on managing symptoms, lifestyle changes, and treatment options, ensuring informed decision-making.
4. Assisting with Procedures: Support clinicians in minor procedures, catheter management, and pessary fittings.

Person Specification
Experience
* Must have minimum of 1 year NHS experience
* NMC Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with experience in urology, gynaecology, or continence care
* Strong communication and patient support skills to provide sensitive care for intimate health issues
Desirable
* Specialist training in urogynaecology or continence care (often gained through additional courses or experience)
