The postholder will support the Marketing & Commercial team in producing digital and print-ready graphics that elevate London City Lionesses brand across all touchpoints, from partner activations to fan-facing content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to help shape how our club is seen and remembered. This is a new position within the business, so the responsibilities are not set in stone. We need someone who can jump in, get things done, and work with the senior leadership team to shape the future of the club. Main Duties/ Responsibilities 1. •Design high-quality visuals for digital and print use, including matchday graphics, social media content, sponsorship decks, retail assets, and event branding •Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure creative output aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and strategic priorities • Collaborate across departments (e.g. Partnerships, Media, Academy) to fulfil graphic requests and support campaigns • Support in the creation of commercial proposals, presentations, and promotional materials for prospective and current partnerships • Maintain and update visual asset libraries, including templates, logos, and artwork files • Assist with creative ideation for marketing campaigns and seasonal campaigns • Ensure all assets are optimised for relevant channels and formats (e.g. web, print, mobile, social) • Occasionally support on-site during matchdays and club events to capture or assist with live creative content 2. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time-to-time by management Club Accountabilities 1. To behave in a manner consistent with Club values and policies What we are looking for Qualifications and Training Essential • Degree level or equivalent in graphic design related course • Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Suite and graphic design best practices Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign – Premiere Pro and After Effects) • A strong, versatile portfolio demonstrating design flair and attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple design projects to deadline • Understanding of layout, typography and how to translate messaging into visual storytelling • Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective design best practices • Experience working to a brand style guide and maintaining consistency across outputs • Experience supporting marketing teams in creating partnership or commercial decks • Experience preparing print-ready artwork and adapting designs for multiple formats • Ability to interpret briefs and communicate ideas visually, quickly and clearly • Ability to implement best file storage and naming conventions practices Desirable • Experience designing in a sporting, events or entertainment environment. • Comfortable using CMS tools and preparing assets for digital platforms • Motion graphics/animation knowledge or experience would be desirable Characteristics • Passionate about women’s football and the broader women’s sport movement • Creative thinker with a strong visual eye and storytelling instinct • Proactive and solutions-focused, takes ownership and delivers with impact • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail across multiple projects • Collaborative and team-oriented, enjoys cross-functional working • Agile and adaptable and thrives in a fast-moving, reactive environment • Calm under pressure and confident in fast turnaround scenarios (e.g. matchdays) • Receptive to feedback and able to offer and receive creative critique constructively • Committed to personal growth and staying up to date with design and digital trends London City Lionesses is committed to safeguarding, health and safety, and equality, diversity, and inclusion.
