About the Role
A supportive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated General Classroom Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children succeed and supporting learning across the school.
You will work closely with the class teacher to provide high‑quality support for pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Your Responsibilities
* Supporting learning across the classroom
* Assisting with small group work and 1:1 activities
* Helping to prepare resources and set up activities
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school staff
* Providing general support during lessons, transitions, and break times

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to commit to Monday–Friday, 08:45am–3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
