System Support Engineer - £200 per day - Contract - ASAP start
* Based in Clapham HQ
* Office based - 5 days onsite
This role involves providing hands-on technical support to maintain IT operations and business continuity across multiple sites, supporting over 200 users. You’ll manage tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and contribute to IT projects in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow in cloud, networking, and automation
Role and Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for technical issues, managing tickets and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
* Configure and set up devices for new starters and manage user accounts and permissions.
* Support remote workers with connectivity and network access.
* Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, automation improvements, and security initiatives.
* Maintain accurate documentation and assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Key Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows client/server environments, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Autopilot.
* Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
* Experience with ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
