Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations of a busy residential site.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining safe, high-quality living environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all planned and reactive maintenance across the site
* Manage contractors, service schedules, and compliance checks
* Ensure health & safety standards and statutory testing are completed
* Carry out general repairs, inspections, and building maintenance
* Support site operations including emergency response and on-call duties
* Monitor maintenance budgets, stock levels, and supplies
* Work closely with onsite teams to maintain excellent resident experience
About You
* Previous maintenance or facilities management experience within residential, hospitality, accommodation, or similar environments
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and building compliance
* Experience with general maintenance including plumbing and/or electrical work
* Able to manage workload effectively and respond to emergencies when required
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* IOSH/NEBOSH qualification desirable but not essential
