Fundraising Manager

Salary: Up to £38,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
Location: Home-based, with occasional attendance at Seescape’s office in Glenrothes
Hours: 0.8 FTE (flexible and negotiable)
Contract: Permanent

We are delighted to be working with Seescape, Fife’s leading charity supporting people with visual impairment, to appoint a new Fundraising Manager.

Seescape empowers people with visual impairment to live safely, independently, and achieve their personal goals. Through a wide range of services, including information and advice, rehabilitation, assistive technology training, befriending, and social activities, the charity plays a vital role in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, forward-thinking organisation and lead the development of its fundraising strategy at a time of ambition and growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Senior Management Team, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for growing and diversifying Seescape’s income streams. The postholder will:

1. Secure income from trusts, foundations, and individual donors
2. Build strong, lasting relationships with supporters and funders
3. Develop and promote digital fundraising, regular giving, legacy programmes, and Seescape’s community lottery
4. Manage fundraising databases and reporting processes
5. Provide insightful reporting to the Board and Senior Management Team
6. Identify and implement new income opportunities and partnerships

This is a varied, hands-on role that offers both strategic influence and practical delivery, suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, collaboration, and impact-driven work.

The Person

We are seeking a skilled and motivated fundraiser who brings:

7. Proven experience in fundraising, particularly trusts, foundations, and individual giving
8. Strong relationship management and communication skills
9. Excellent written skills for proposals, reports, and donor engagement
10. A sound understanding of fundraising best practice and charity regulations
11. The ability to plan effectively, meet deadlines, and work across teams collaboratively

Experience with eTapestry, membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, or a personal connection to Seescape’s mission would be advantageous.

Why Join Seescape?

You’ll be part of a small, values-led charity that makes a big difference across Fife. Seescape offers a flexible, supportive working environment where your expertise and initiative will directly help people with visual impairment lead independent and confident lives.
