<div><h3>Job Information</h3><p><b>Job Title:</b> Rental Return Agent</p><p><b>Salary:</b>£26,545.00</p><p><b>Hours:</b> Full time, temporary (until 30th September), rotational shift pattern Monday – Sunday</p><p><b>Location:</b> Edinburgh, Midlothian, United Kingdom</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensure rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner and inspected for readiness for the next rental.</li><li>Interact with customers, process rental agreements and payments.</li><li>Conduct vehicle inspections, documenting any damages or issues and assessing charges.</li><li>Clarify final charges, collect signed rental agreement receipts.</li><li>Provide assistance with directions and travel information.</li><li>Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.</li><li>Organise the rental car lot and maintain safety and security protocols.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Fluency in spoken and written English.</li><li>Prior customer service experience in car rental, retail or hospitality (1-2 years preferred).</li><li>Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends.</li><li>Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Team‑oriented approach.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.</li><li>Friendly, upbeat, proactive attitude.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with 24/7 support for mental health and well‑being.</li><li>Employee discounts on car rental across Avis Budget Group (including Zipcar).</li><li>Opportunity to earn monthly commission.</li></ul></div>
