Job Description
Westbourne's fleet includes fully equipped service vehicles fitted with diagnostic tools to identify faults on various cars and light commercial vehicles. Vehicles are also equipped with towing equipment for vehicle recovery.
The primary goal of a Westbourne technician is to safely repair as many vehicles as possible at the roadside, aiming to repair more cars than competitors. Repairs cover all makes and models, with technicians expected to diagnose and fix most faults onsite.
Depending on workload, technicians may perform additional repairs in workshops. They will also recover non-repairable vehicles within a 60-mile radius, with longer recoveries handled by dedicated drivers.
Salary
The basic salary is £34,000 annually, with bonus opportunities potentially adding up to £8,000.
Shift Hours
4 days on duty followed by 2 days off, with consistent start times for each 4-day period, switching after days off.
Shift options:
- 0800 to 2000
- 1400 to 0200

A minimum of three years holding a Full Category B Driving Licence is essential. Training for towing trailers will be provided if needed.
Relevant experience in vehicle repair or a Level 3 qualification is preferred.
