The Role
* Support client conversations as needed.
* Oversee estimating department activities related to pricing, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
* Develop a robust, auditable procurement process.
* Assess and evaluate suppliers, conducting performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
* Ensure goods are purchased within specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
* Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and foster continuous improvement.
* Maintain a professional and consistent approach in all supplier relationships.
* Research and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
* Risk Management: Identify potential commercial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor market dynamics and regulatory changes that may impact operations.
* Manage postage and logistics partners.
* Support governance of goods in and stock management processes.

Experience:

* Solid understanding of financial principles, including pricing strategies, cost analysis, and profitability metrics.
* Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
* Previous experience in sales, marketing, or related fields is advantageous for insights into customer behavior and market dynamics.
