Job Title: Senior Insight Manager Level & Responsibility: This role is at a Senior Manager level or equivalent and has responsibility over the insight function at Asda Media Salary: £53,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a 10% discretionary bonus Location & Hybrid Working: Leeds, a minimum of 2 days in the office per week The role As a Senior Insight Manager, you will lead the insight function at Asda Media ensuring insight operations (reporting and evaluations for all campaigns) run efficiently with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. You will leverage the data from our evaluations to deliver actionable insight to our strategic clients which provides them with a clear understanding of campaign performance as well as a “So What” that will help influence investment choices for future campaigns. You will introduce new workstreams that enable Asda Media to leverage data and insight to enhance the performance of media at Asda. Why SMG? What you'll be doing We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like: Lead the delivery of campaign evaluations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Identify opportunities and drive forward changes that build efficiencies to the evaluation process. Work with the wider insight team to identify “recipes of success” across other more mature insight accounts and apply these to Asda. Upskill Asda client and campaign teams in deriving insight from evaluations. Deliver added value insight to strategic clients that supports them in their decision-making utilising data derived from their evaluations. Leverage data to support the wider management team in strategic projects including rate card reviews & suggested pricing structures. Support with additional data-led projects required to develop overall Asda function, such as investment & supplier analysis. Effectively lead your team through weekly 121s or other catch-ups and ensure every team member has a Workplan with SMART objectives. Support with recruitment process and hiring high performers into your team and ensure an effective onboarding takes place for all new starters including regular feedback conversations & probation reviews. Deliver appropriate team training to fill knowledge or skills gaps. Provide opportunities to your team to work closely on insight-deriving projects & insight-team deep dives.
