Organisational Development & Learning Administrator
An exciting opportunity to join our organisational, development and learning team as an apprentice administrator. The team supports all the learning and development activity for colleagues. This opportunity would suit those starting their career or someone looking for career development or change. As an apprentice you will
* support and administrate organisational development and learning activities e.g. mandatory learning, staff inductions and other specialised learning programmes for colleagues working in the hospital and community teams.
* A point of contact for colleagues/visitors using the education centre and all training queries.
* Input and maintain the employment record system to record learning records and collate data to produce reports.
* General office duties such as booking rooms, photocopying, answering telephone enquiries, drafting emails and reports.
You will study a level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship course. There will be a requirement to attend some face‑to‑face study days at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds and complete some online learning throughout the course. You will be supported by your team to learn in practice as you undertake your role. You will be allocated a work‑based mentor and a college tutor who will work together to support your learning.
Main duties of the job
* Support and administrate all aspects of OD and L&D activities e.g Mandatory Learning, Inductions and other programmes including those in the community
* Act as a point of contact for colleagues / visitors using the education centre and all L&D training queries
* Maintain Oracle Learning Management and career management systems including training catalogue, competency requirements and e‑learning packages

Person Specification
Education & Qualification
* GCSE English and maths Grade 4 - 9 / A* - C or equivalent level 2 qualification in maths and English.
* Willing to enrol and complete a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship course
Experience & Knowledge
* Working in a team
* Experience of planning and organising multiple activities
* Experience of meeting deadlines and achieving agreed objectives
* Work experience in the NHS or similar healthcare environment or work experience in office administration
Skills & Abilities
* Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all levels of staff
* Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Good understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements in the workplace
