About the role English National Ballet is seeking an Illuminations Project Lead to lead on the project planning, management, and successful delivery of multiple development strands within the Illuminations portfolio, that form part of the Company’s prolific Engagement offer in London, in the regions and internationally. This person will support the sustainable expansion of inclusive dance SEND programming, exploring opportunities for digital potential and deliver tangible outputs and outcomes in John Lyon’s Beneficiary Area. Responsibilities Be responsible and accountable for the planning and delivery of the four Development Strands of the project Illuminations Research, develop and nurture partnerships with SEND specialist schools and schools with SEND embedded into mainstream curriculum, Family Hubs and arts organisations delivering best practice. Create opportunities for collaboration to provide the best outcomes for SEND children and young people, families and carers in John Lyon’s Beneficiary Area. Track project delivery across all four development strands and keep the project on track for key milestones. Track agreed budget allocation for the project, monitor and log income and expenditure, and adhere to the stipulations of the stakeholders’ expectations and requirements. Seek opportunities for research collaborations for greater learning in designing effective SEND creative programmes to extend the boundaries of Illuminations project. Lead and manage freelance associate artists and creatives, ensuring a high standard of work output, professional behaviour and resource management, with support for learning and development. Key Selection Criteria Experience in planning, developing, and delivering high quality SEND inclusive creative dance/arts provision with schools and families. (Sensory, physical, cognitive and learning, social, emotional and mental health). Experience in developing talent progression pathways for CYP with SEND, achieving high artistic standards and a culture for inclusive practice in dance. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, assess and plan resourcing needs and lead times for all elements of project delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent briefing and reporting skills. Good people skills with proven track record of developing positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partner organisations.
