Hays are seeking a confident and motivated Customer & Client Support Executive to manage a high volume of outbound and inbound calls on a daily basis. This role is entirely phone-based and plays a vital part in supporting customers and clients, following up on meetings, handling objections, and maintaining accurate CRM records.

This role is fully office based in Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will have previous sales experience, befortable engaging with customers over the phone, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. All calls are made using existingpany data — no cold sourcing required.

Your new role

1. Make a high volume of outbound calls daily using data from thepany CRM system.
2. Handle inbound calls professionally, responding to customer and client enquiries.
3. Follow up on meetings, quotations, and previous conversations to progress oues.
4. Build rapport quickly and maintain professional, consultative conversations.
5. Confidently discuss products and services, identifying customer needs.
6. Handle objections effectively, using active listening and persuasivemunication.
7. Encourage next steps, including meeting bookings, call-backs, or confirmations.
8. Support sales activity by nurturing leads and maintaining engagement.
9. Accurately update the CRM system following every customer interaction.
10. Log call oues, notes, follow-ups, and any changes in customer details.
11. Ensure data integrity,pliance, and up-to-date records at all times.
12. Meet daily and weekly call activity targets.
13. Maintain a high standard of customer service on every interaction.
14. Adhere to call processes andpliance requirements where applicable.
15. Proactively manage workload and follow-up actions.

What you'll need to succeed

16. Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a sales, telesales, or phone-based customer role.
17. Experience in B2B and/or B2C environments.
18. Strong confidence on the phone with a professional and engaging manner.
19. Proven ability to handle objections and challenging conversations.
20. Experience using CRM systems to record and manage customer interactions.
21. Excellent verbalmunication and listening skills.
22. Experience working to call targets and KPIs.
23. Familiarity with structured call scripts and sales processes.
24. Previous experience in a fast-paced contact centre or sales environment.
25. Confident, articulate, and resilient.
26. Positive, motivated, and target-driven.
27. Persuasive yet customer-focused.
28. Organised with strong attention to detail.
29. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
30. Reliable with a professional and resilient mindset.

What you'll get in return

This role is for an excellent forward-thinking Manchester city centre business, salary is £28,000 - £30,000 + bonus, with excellent benefits.
