Eleven General Operatives urgently required for the Belfast City Council based at Duncrue Industrial Estate, Belfast. Application Closing Date: The closing date for applications is 9th January. Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM Friday: 7.30 AM to 3 PM Hourly Rate: £13.47 This is a temporary, three-month position with the possibility of extension based on performance. Key responsibilities will include: Carry out waste collection and open spaces duties across public areas, working alone or as part of a team. Collect and remove refuse and recyclable waste from domestic, commercial and industrial premises. Transport and segregate waste for appropriate disposal, including special and recyclable items. Undertake street cleansing and environmental improvement duties, including land clearance and street washing. Remove graffiti, fly-posters, gum and clean street furniture to maintain public areas.
