About the role
We are expanding our Development Team of highly motivated and talented engineers who have a passion for working with the latest technologies and advancing their skills. The Front End Developer will be a key member of our squad and should be keen to put their skills to the test, working in a fast paced, innovative, e-commerce environment. The successful candidate will be joining a global team and will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the Cimpress group.

The ideal candidate for this position will have professional experience in a react.js environment and bring the following technical skills:
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
* In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles
* Strong knowledge on the Next.js or equivalent framework
* Extensive experience with headless CMS, particularly Contentful, including content modeling, API integration, and GraphQL queries
* Solid understanding of frontend build tools, such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn
* Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design
* Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON
* Strong knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities, working well within a team
It would be great if they also have:
* Experience of Contentful
* Exposure to working with agile methodologies
Further Details
We operate a hybrid working approach and team members balance working from home with regular attendance in the office in Dundee (around 50%). This role could also be fully remote for the right candidate based in the UK.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience but we expect to pay around £35k for a candidate with 2-3 years’ professional experience.
