We’re excited to expand our Operations division with Graduate Site Engineers to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2025 intake, based in Preston in the United Utilities Framework working amongst our Engineering specialists

What will you be doing?

* Assist with day-to-day site management, ensuring safe and efficient operations
* Support setting out, surveying, and interpreting engineering drawings
* Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials on site
* Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
* Assist with environmental management and sustainability targets
* Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to solve technical challenges
* Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder communication

What will I need to be considered?

A recent or upcoming graduate in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; strong interest in site-based engineering and infrastructure delivery; excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; willingness to travel to various project sites across the Region; full UK driving licence (or working towards it); flexibility – successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites; great communication skills (written and verbal); self‑motivated – attitude is key, it's your career!; a team player.


What happens next?
