Self-Employed Plasterer – Council Contract (Stoke-on-Trent)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontractor
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (or until daily work is completed)
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable self-employed plasterer to join our team on a large-scale council contract renovating bathrooms in tenanted properties across Stoke-on-Trent.
The successful candidate will have strong skills in:
* Plasterboarding
* Bonding
* Skimming
You'll also be expected to cooperate with the team on preparation work and be open to other aspects of the job, such as ripping out and basic site tasks.
Requirements:
* Proven experience delivering high-quality plastering work
* Clean, tidy, and safe working practices
* Must have own tools and own transport (van or car) to get to site
* Valid CSCS card
* Able to pass a basic DBS check
Desirable (not essential):
* Asbestos Awareness Training
* Working from Height Training
* Abrasive Wheels Training
* Manual Handling Certification
