Job overview
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurses who can use their initiative, have a vested interest in emergency care, and want to be a part of a multidisciplinary team. We accept patients from the A&E Department as well as from GP referrals who come directly to the Ambulatory Clinic on the Unit, where they are assessed and treated in a timely manner.

Main duties of the job
* Participate in all ward activities as an effective team member, supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse taking the responsibility for the leadership of a team of staff.
* To assess care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and to act as a role model to junior staff, undertaking performance management as required.
* To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients and the whole department/unit/ ward for the duration of shift.
