My client is a leading global music business with a legal team in London comprising two very experienced lawyers. Due to growth in demand for the teams expertise, they are now looking to recruit a paralegal to support their workload.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing and drafting a range of contracts including NDAs, terms and conditions, publisher agreements, supplier agreements, artist agreements, and influencer agreements.
* Managing a contracts database, obtaining board approvals, facilitating the contract signature process, and ensuring that drafts and signed agreements are filed and disseminated across the business as required.
* Engaging with teams to obtain and disseminate information required to support ongoing negotiations and to ensure that existing agreements are implemented effectively.
* Handling approvals and consents, where required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university.
* Basic understanding of copyright law.
* Proactive, positive, and curious attitude to learning.
* Ideally, experience in reviewing and drafting contracts and experience in the music industry.
