£45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of exceptional quality. With a strong order book and continued growth into export markets, they are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities
* Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long‑term machine reliability.
* Execute the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively.
* Use appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S.
* Actively support a culture of continuous improvement, looking for ways to engineer out persistent problems.
* Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
* Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Formal engineering qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship‑trained.
* 18th Edition ISO/CE standard knowledge.
* Continuous improvement knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
