Role Overview:
As an Assistant
Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team. The role encompasses reporting, financial analysis and day:to:day accounting support. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
What our new 'Assistant Accountant' will be doing:

Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities
:
Generate journals for accrual and prepayment and other manual transactions
:
Complete monthly reconciliations
:
Review accounts for accuracy
:
Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
The experience our new 'Assistant Accountant' will have includes:

Part of fully qualified with a recognised professional body (such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

Experience working within a manufacturing environment with rigid month:end procedures and timelines

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting

Proficiency in ERP systems and good Excel skills
