About The Role We’re looking for a Senior Art Director who brings big ideas, strategic thinking, executional brilliance, polish and calm confidence to the creative process. You’ll be a go-to visual lead — trusted to design and direct high-impact work across channels and platforms. You’ll help evolve brand identity, push visual storytelling, conceive of captivating campaigns and mentor designers with clarity and care. This role is ideal for a senior-level art director who’s ready to guide others, take creative ownership, and bring thoughtful leadership to complex projects. You won’t just design assets—you’ll shape the creative vision behind them. This role will report to our Associate Creative Director or equivalent and can be based out of any of our Brighton, London, Manchester or Macclesfield UK offices on a hybrid model, with working from home options. What You’ll Do Lead execution of complex visual assignments including branded and unbranded campaigns, websites, digital, motion and everything in-between Present and defend creative concepts internally and with clients, clearly articulating strategic rationale Collaborate closely with copy, strategy, UX, medical, and production to bring ideas to life with precision Mentor junior and mid-level designers, offering constructive feedback and modelling strong creative habits Shape the visual identity of brands—evolving campaign look-and-feel while maintaining strategic alignment Support high stakes work like pitch development, brand planning, and product launches Drive design consistency across formats and tactics, ensuring quality, alignment, and feasibility Contribute to team culture, creative standards, and visual innovation within the department Who You Are A polished visual storyteller with experience leading all aspects of creative development A conceptual thinker who understands how visuals advance strategy, not just execution A calm, proactive collaborator who can guide others and ask the right questions at the right time Skilled in digital design, branding systems, and omnichannel creative Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging AI-enhanced tools Curious about the “why” behind health behaviour—and driven to make that story come to life visually A good human-kind, coachable, and ready to raise the bar for your team and yourself Preferred Experience 6 years of design and art direction experience, with 2 years at the senior level Pharmaceutical or healthcare agency experience preferred Strong portfolio that demonstrates concept development, brand consistency, and executional excellence Experience leading design across both HCP and DTC campaigns a plus Experience guiding production of digital, video, and motion-based content Work Environment & Benefits Generous annual leave including the time between Christmas and New Year off Contributory company pension scheme Dynamic working Health insurance Income protection insurance Discretionary bonus scheme Season ticket loan Cycle scheme You Belong Here We believe creativity thrives in diverse environments.
