Job Description Role Overview: We are recruiting an experienced Electrician to work on our NIHE Heating Maintenance contract across various locations in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will provide electrical support to the Heating Installation teams and carry out response maintenance as required. Reports to: Electrical Foreman Direct Reports: None Working Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00am 4:30pm Flexibility required Participation in on-call rota Key Responsibilities: Carry out domestic electrical maintenance Perform periodic inspection and testing of domestic dwellings Support heating installation works Complete rewires and fuse board upgrades Install smoke alarms and associated safety systems Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards at all times Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) 18th Edition Qualification Previous domestic experience Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Criteria: Valid CSR card Previous experience working in social housing/NIHE properties Additional inspection & testing experience Personal Qualities: Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver excellent tenant satisfaction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and within set timeframes Strong initiative and problem-solving skills Team player with high attention to detail Flexible approach to working hours with willingness to participate in on-call duties Benefits: Onboarding bonus Pension scheme Life Assurance (terms apply) Health Cash Plan membership Equal Opportunities: H&A Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
