Job Description
Due to consistent growth of the business, this prominent and highly successful water treatment company that services a large portfolio of clients, including high profile clients, is actively seeking a high calibre, committed and multi‑skilled Water Treatment Engineer/Supervisor based in and around Plymouth. Applications from Tavistock, Ivybridge, Looe and surrounding areas are welcome.
Requisites
* Good formal education – a degree is beneficial.
* Strong communication, client‑facing, organisational, people‑management, presentation and leadership skills.
* Well‑versed in the water treatment industry with hands‑on water‑treatment engineering experience.
* Valid and varied experience in this role and within the water‑treatment industry.
Purpose of the Role
Servicing and managing existing and new accounts within areas designated by the client.
Key Aspects of the Role
* Oversee and supervise a team of Water Treatment Engineers on site – planning and scheduling.
* Service and manage existing and new accounts.
* Facilitate training, recruitment and appraisals of staff.
* Audit work carried out by Engineers – ensure compliance with water‑treatment/water hygiene Health & Safety procedures and take appropriate action regarding risk assessment and site surveys.
* Provide technical support to the team – Engineers and Accounts.
* Generate new business leads.
* Produce accurate reports and liaise with Management.
* Achieve targets and goals.
* Prioritise workload and address issues effectively and appropriately.
