Our client is looking for an experienced Elderly Care Professional to join their team. You may be an experienced Senior Care Assistant seeking your next step or an existing Assistant Manager looking for a new challenge.
The successful candidate will be required to work every other weekend and alternate weeks. You will have two days off in the week when you work weekends.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in efficiently running the home with a caring approach.
* Supervise staff members.
* Work directly in care on a daily basis.
* Report directly to the Home Manager or their appointed representative, in accordance with employment terms.
* Ensure the home operates to high standards, meeting requirements of proprietors, Local Authority, Social Services, and Fire Prevention Officer.
* Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining staff training.
* Manage the medication system, including ordering, recording, administration, and disposal.
* Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and staff mix.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Experience in dementia care.
