SEN Teacher – Hemel Hempstead
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Start Date: ASAP / February 2026
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 per annum
The Role:
Supply Desk is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to work within a specialist or alternative provision in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves delivering personalised learning programmes and supporting students with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Support students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and families
* Create a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Track progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS or equivalent
* Have experience working with SEN students
* Be patient, resilient, and nurturing
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
