This role would suit an experienced mechanical maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning bespoke machinery. About the role: Working alongside the on-site Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance and upkeep of all ancillary plant and production equipment. The environment is physical, industrial, and demanding, working with graphite-based materials, so resilience and a strong work ethic are essential. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Bias Planned preventative maintenance on ancillary plant equipment including Scales, Stitchers and Compressors Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown support Working at height from gantries and access platforms Health & safety inspections and compliance checks Maintenance and upkeep of the forklift fleet Supporting continuous improvement and reliability of plant equipment Working collaboratively within a 13-person engineering and production teamThe Ideal Candidate Proven mechanical maintenance engineering background Strong mechanical design knowledge and analytical thinking skills Comfortable working in a physical, dirty, industrial environment Willingness to learn bespoke and specialist machinery Strong team player with good communication skillsDesirable (for top salary bracket): Previous Forklift experience (basic) Previous MIG / TIG welding experience (basic)What's On Offer Salary up to £50,000 pro rata (dependent on experience and qualifications) Annual pay increases - consistently awarded for over 25 years Bonus opportunities Day shifts only - Monday to Friday Free on-site parking Long-term, secure role within a well-established business Supportive team environment with strong retentionApply today for immediate consideration or contact us on (phone number removed) and ask for Louie.
