Class 1Driver
HireGiant ltd are looking for a Class 1Driver to join our well-established client based in Derby, Derbyshire
This is for a local palletised haulagecompany, the company are a known in the haulage and storage sector for thier well looked after HGV trucks and excellent customer service. You as the driver will need to completedeliveries of their goods toclients across the UK. There is a strong possibilityfor the Class 1Driver to be placed on long term hireshould they perform well without any incidents, lateness and repeated infringements.
The Role:
The Class 1driver will be required to work weekdays Monday to Friday; they do have optional weekend work for those who want to do the odd shift or regular.
The work starts immediately and involves making up to 1or 2deliveries, then a collectionof goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. HGV Class 1 experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with HGV1 Driverexperience, you must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.
Requirements for this role:
The Class 1Driver will require:
Cat C+E entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (optional weekends)
Start time between 05:00am & 07:00am (can accommodate earlier and later starts if prior agreed)
Shifts will be between 9 -13 hours
The hourly rate for this role is:
£17.45 - £19.20 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start
