Engineering Supervisor - High-Profile Corporate Building (Near Cannon Street)
Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Engineering Supervisor to manage all maintenance operations within a prestigious corporate building based near Cannon Street. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a skilled team in a high‑profile environment, ensuring building systems run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
* Supervise and support a team of multi‑skilled engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance.
* Take responsibility for HV (High Voltage) systems operation and maintenance.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory, safety, and company procedures.
* Plan, prioritise, and manage multiple maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
* Carry out practical maintenance and installation tasks when required, leading by example.
* Liaise with the client, contractors, and senior management to maintain high service delivery standards.
* Manage documentation, PPM schedules, and work order systems accurately and efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in an Engineering Supervisor or Lead Engineer role within a commercial or corporate environment.
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
* HV Authorised (or strong HV experience required).
* Recognised mechanical or electrical qualifications (C&G, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Strong computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills — approachable, tactful, and professional.
* Ability to write clear, accurate instructions and technical documentation.
* Confident reading and interpreting blueprints, machine, and process drawings; able to redline or sketch updates as needed.
* Solid understanding of maintenance processes, work order systems, and planning/scheduling procedures.
* Hands‑on, practical approach — able to lead from the front and maintain high technical standards.
