Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Liverpool is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN base full-time from September.
The Role:
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a dedicated SEN resource base. You'll work as part of a skilled team to help children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
* Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions
* Assist with personal care and emotional regulation where required
* Adapt learning activities and resources to suit individual needs
* Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning space
About You:
* Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or specialist setting (essential)
* A patient, resilient, and compassionate nature
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
* A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or similar) is desirable but not essential
