Vacancy: Project Manager Closing date: Monday 27 April Shortlisting: Tuesday 28 April Proposed Interview date: Wednesday 6 May Salary: £46,846.71 About the vacancy: We're looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to manage selected projects to support the delivery of the Programme Management Office and other strategic change or business continuity initiatives by collaborating with teams across the business. This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with association's strategic vision, commitments and goals As a Project Manager you will manage selected projects to support the delivery of the Programme Management Office and other strategic change or business continuity initiatives by collaborating with teams across the business. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with association's strategic vision, commitments and goals, and ensuring that the project is optimised by implementing processes and controls to govern and manage initiatives during all phases of the project, making sure that each project is delivered on time, cost and within scope. Specifically, in the role you will: Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and be responsible for the creation and upkeep of all project documentation including project schedules, and RAID logs Develop detailed project schedules using appropriate project planning software such as MS Project, defining project workstreams, tasks, resources, task relationships and owners Work closely with Programme Management Office colleagues and others to ensure effective ways of working ensuring that the right people are involved in projects at the right time and contributing ideas for improvements Work with the Programme Management Office to develop a programme level schedule through the aggregation of individual project schedules. Build and lead project delivery teams to successful project delivery, providing guidance and support where needed Report on progress of project(s) to all stakeholders and, where appropriate, to project governance groups which could include: - Risk - Budget - Benefits realisation - Project health - Plan on a page - Scheduling Lead the planning and implementation of projects Carry out any other duty as requested by the Programme Manager or Head of Programmes in support of the association and emerging objectives and policies.
