We are looking for a Practice Nurse who will play a crucial role in delivering high quality patient care, working alongside skilled professionals in a supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and highly motivated, preferably with general practice experience and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Key Duties include:-
1. Chronic Disease management (Diabetes, COPD & Asthma)
2. Routine & child immunisations
3. Wound Care & dressings
4. Travel vaccinations
5. Cervical cytology
6. Knowledge of Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF)
7. Experience of working and delivering Locally Commissioned Services & Direct Enhanced Services

A GMS practice taking a prominent role in PrestonPark Community Primary Care Network.
List size of 12,250 patients and growing

16. Prioritise health issues and intervene appropriately
17. Support the team in dealing with clinical emergencies
18. Implement vaccination programmes for adults and children
19. Ensure compliance with the practice chaperone policy
20. Ear irrigation
21. Participate in clinical audits
22. Implement nursing protocols in conjunction with the Nursing Team

25. Recognised qualifications to diploma level or above
